In 1850 census for Benton County, Al there is a Samuel Fields b. 1830 GA in the household of John Dearman and wife Stacy. I am looking to see if there is a connection to this family. Samuel Fields mother's name is on census records as Mary, she was botn abt. 1810 in SC. In 1850 she is living in Forsyth County, GA with her daughter Caroline and her husband Benjamin Echols. I am researching Fields. My Fields family came to OK sometime after 1890. Before that they were in TX around 1870.
