Researching REBECCA DEARMAN b. ca. 1798 d. ca. 1848, parents Solomon Dearmand d.March 22, 1824, and Mary Brigman, his first wife. She married SOLOMON NEWSOM. Their daughter Martha Caroline Newsom married Henry Creel, son of Thomas Creel and Elizabeth Dearman, daughter of Thomas Monroe Dearman and Rebecca Bounds; They lived in Jones Co. MS. Soloman and Rebecca lived in Pickens Co. AL and Lauderdale Co. MS. Rebecca is not named in her father's will the executor of which was Richard Dearman but Solomon made purchases from the estate as did other sons-in-law. Seeking documents connecting Rebecca to her parents; and also proof of marriage of Rebecca and Solomon. Families migrated from NC, SC to AL, TN and MS after the Rev. War and before the War of 1812.
