Regarding Eli Y. Bowling m. Melissa Ann Dearman. Eli is often referred to as Eli I. Bowling. He was subscribing witness to Last Will and Testament of Barbara Bassett Bowling. His signature on the will is Eli Y. Bowling, and his name is so entered in the Probate records where he testified to the authenticity of Barbara's Will. I offer this for your genealogy records. Barbara's will was recorded July 24, 1841 in the Probate Court of Washington County, AL.
