I have a book Ancestors and Descendants of the Dearman-Deerman Families by Velvo and
Margaret Chaney published in 1988. I think
that they were sisters. Velvo has died.
The address I had was Rt 3, Box 1351, Foley
AL 36535. I did find the following address.
Dont know if he is related or not.

The book has lots of information on James Eli
Dearman. He was born 20 Apr 1821 in Perry Co MS, died May 1900 in Marion Co, MS, the son of Thomas Monroe Dearman Jr and Nancy Yates.
He married Eliza Baxter b Mar 1823 in Marion Co MS and died 2 Jan 1887 in Marion Co. She was the daughter of Thomas Baxter and his wife Nancy E. Stanford.

I am interested in the DeArman family from
Calhoun Co AL.
