Have just found information that says Mary Elizabeth was the granddaughter of William or James DeArmond, the sons of Elizabeth Camapbell Mulllen b. 1808 in Ireland and John DeArmond b. 1804 in Northumberland County, Pennsylvania.
Don't know where in Texas she was born but her husband, William (Bill)Jefferson Simmons had lived sometime in the San Saba area before moving to Sebastian County, Arkansas. If anyone has any information please email me....don't get to scan this forum often.
