Martha, great to hear from you. Yes, this is my Emma Daringer. I have the following: Jacob Daringer bn. abt. 1835 Baden, Germany md Martha Stephenson bn abt. 1844 in Kentucky. Marriage date 4/26/1862. They had the following children: Joseph Deringer bn abt. 1861 Margt Deringer bn abt. 1863 Theodore Deringer bn. abt. 1865 *Emma Deringer bn. 3/6/1868 Dora Deringer Joseph md. Mary Dove Elkins abt. 1867 she died 8/15/1891 buried in Vail Cemetery Broseley, Missouri. Not far from Poplar Bluff, Missouri. He then married Martha Ann Warf/Furr. Children from Joseph and Mary were: James Henry Deringer William Harvey Deringer Emma Deringer Lucy Deringer 2nd wife Martha Ann Warf/Furr already had a child Alis Marie Furr Questions I have for you: Was Warf a married or maiden name? Was Alis Marie Furr your grandmother? If so, who was your mother and father? Also, I did not have James Henry's name or Emma or Lucy's. THanks for the information. Now, you have given me some answers that the current brothers and sisters could not remember. Emma and Joseph Armor had four children (2 who survived and the twins died of consumption along with Emma in the 1800's.) The surviving children Harvey Armor and Lassie Armor. Harvey Armor had 13 children. Lassie had one adopted or real daughter only. Harvey md Ella Ligons and of these 13 children, there are 8 children alive. This is the deal, they remember visiting the Sutherlands in Arkansas but did not remember the relationship to them. You have solved that puzzle for them and me. This has been a mystery to us for a long time. Thanks so much. My relationship is this: Of Harvey and Ella's 13 children, I won't name them all unless you want them, and I will gladly furnish their names. Of these 13 children one is Dean Armor age 82 and he had a son Carl Dewight Armor whom I am married to. Let me know if you have more information to share and I will gladly share all I know. Thanks again. We have an Armor reunion the third weekend in October, this year October 19th outside of Broseley, Missouri in a community called Elk. We would love to have you come and spend the day with us. This is the old farm of the Armor's. If you want to come and meet the decendents of Emma Deringer they gather together that day and have a good time. Furnish me your email address and I will give you a phone number and directions to the reunion. I was born in Poplar Bluff, Missouri and raised in the community of Elk.
