Judy, I have an Emma Daringer in my tree. Her brother, Joseph Daringer married my great-grandmothers mother. Mrs. Martha Furr. According to the marriage license I have, Miss Emma Daringer of Butler County, MO married Mr. Joseph E. Armor of Ash Hill Township, Butler County, MO on 8 Feb 1885. As Emma was under the age of 18 years, her guardian Joseph Daringer (brother) gave his consent as parents being dead. Joseph's first wife was Miss Mary D. Elkins and they had at least two sons. My great grandmother called them Henry and Harv. They were older than she was. I think they were James Henry and William Harvey. Alis Marie Furr b. 17 Dec 1885 in Missouri, had two half sisters. Emma Daringer, later married an Anderson. Lucy Daringer, later married a Latting. I have copies of all three marriage licenses. Went to Butler County, Poplar Bluff, Missouri and paid a big $5.00 a copy, I think. Been several years agao. That's what I have so far. Oh year, Joseph and Martha moved to Fulton County, Arkansas and was listed there in 1900 Federal census. I had a Great Aunt (that's how I was raised) and Great Uncle, Dellie and Odell Sutherland. Found out that Aunt Dellie was Della Daringer. Her father was Theodore Daringer, he died I guess and his wife, Stella remarried and the name of Daringer was spelled Dearinger. Fulton County Arkansas Federal census also. Notify Administrator about this message?
