Hi David-

I have more info on David H. Dearinger and Mahala Hodson if you are interested. David was born ca. 1816 near Clear Creek in Woodford Co, KY, and died on 20 Oct 1893 in Monterey, Owen Co, KY. I have a map showing the exact location of his home. He was a blacksmith and wagonmaker. On 7 Nov 1842 in Frankfort, Franklin Co, KY he married Mahala Hodson, a daughter of Delaware-born John B. Hodson.
Cheryl just recently contacted me and we are in the process of sharing info on this family. She and I are both descended from their daughter, Mary Jane Dearinger, who married James Benjamin Lindsey, a native of Richmond, Henrico Co, VA who settled in Monterey in 1870, where he was a stonecutter, barber, and stage line owner. He later settled and farmed in Smithfield Precinct, Henry Co, KY.
Would like to share info on the early history of the Dearinger family if you are interested.
