Hi there,
Are there any descendants out there of this couple, or anyone who knows about this family?
James Deans, b. 8 Jun 1843, Coilacriech Inn, Glenmuick
Isabella Tait, b. 10 May 1861, Strathdon
m. 16 Jun 1880, Strathdon
Children:
1) James T Deans, b. 1881, Glenmuick
2) Margaret A Deans, b. 1883, Glenmuick
3) Catherine J Deans, b. 1884, Glenmuick
4) Emma I Deans, b. 1886, Glenmuick
I believe this is probably the same family who are buried in a family plot in the Tullich Kirkyard.
According to the MI Index, stone 120 has the following names and dates:
James Deans
Isabella Deans
James Chalmers
Emma Isabella Deans d. 22 Nov 1960
Catherine Jane Deans d. 1 Dec 1962
Bertha Alice Deans/Chalmers d. 12 Jul 1975
The family appears in the 1881 and 1891 censuses in Dalbagie Farm House, Glenmuick.
