GRANDFATHER - Robert Deans, b. approx. 1895 -
served with the Kings Own Scottish Borderers from 1914 to 1915; Kings Own Scots Guard, 1918-1924
married Roseanna Jessop (Eye, Suffolk, England) in 1924, emigrated to Birtle Manitoba, Canada, returning to Glasgow in 1936
GREAT GRANDFATHER - William Deans,
children: David, William, Effingham, Robert and Bella
