Hi Emma! I'm Dennis Deanda, one of Butch's sons. I was surprised and excited to see your response, especially since I had posted that inquiry over 10 years ago and hadn't really kept up with the research until recently. Yours and James' information helped me out a great deal because, as you know, there are several "Tiburcio's" in the family and I thought I had come to a dead-end in finding out who the original Deanda's were. So I greatly appreciate it.

I sent my dad a text message as soon as I saw your post, to which he responded by telling me he had recently seen you at his aunt's rosary. He enjoy's the fact that I have always been interested in and have researched the family name. Although any info I find is valued, I am mostly interested in finding photos and finding out where your grandfather (my great great grandfather) Jose Tiburcio L. Deanda is buried, as well as his father, the Tiburcio Deanda born in Mexico in 1829, who was married to Petra Lopez. So far I have only seen a picture of Gabriel Deanda from one of James Epperson's websites. I'm trying to go back as far as I can.

I look forward to exchanging info with you and James and I thank you for the responses. Take care!
Dennis Deanda

FYI: the aol email is outdated, please usse the yahoo one.
