Dean families in Nipawin and Biggar Saskatchewan
From a book on Our Roots.ca, John Dean lived in Ruthilda and bought property in Daisy Hill before moving to Nipawin Saskatchewan. Thanks to the will of my gg grandfather Jabez Smith Deen Sr who died in Stranaer, I have confirmed that this John Dean was the John Langman Deen born 1874 in Hastings County Ontario to Jabez Smith Deen. Now that Ancestry.ca has posted Voters lists from 1935-1980, I found John L Dean and his wife for several years in Nipawin Saskatchewan. John Langman Deen spelled his name as Dean and made a point to include the midddle initial L so I am pretty sure that this is my relative. Also, James Albert Deen known as Albert Dean was living in Biggar Saskatchewan on these Voters Lists and it looks like Biggar was close to Rosetown Saskatchewan. In 1925, Jabez Smith Deen junior, a brother to James Albert Deen and John Langman Deen died in Rosetown Saskatchewan as per Saskatchewan Probate Records on FamilySearch, the Mormon site. If the Albert Dean of Biggar was my James Albert Dean, descendants exist or existed. One was an Allan Dean with children Irene and Dorothy. Irene Dean was a teacher in Biggar . If anyone can help, please reply. Thanks.
