As per original land record of Hastings County in Ameliasburg, PEC Ontario, Chauncey K Dean purchased Lot 4, Conc 2 Sidney Twp on 4 June 1849 from Charles Mabey and Harriet 50 acres, part of lot 3 and lot 4. He sold the property by 8 Mar 1853 to Russel Porter , a total of 150 acres for $5000.00.
