footnote.com - The Atlanta Constitution 3/13/1886

This is a long story and is talking about Harrison Hamilton of White County that dies in jail. They are moving men to different locations and suspending sentences

The only men that remained in the jail was Jim McCoy and John Dean in the Fulton County jail. McCoy is supposed to be the murderer of Deputy Marsh W.D. Kellett, and John Dean is in for counterfeiting. The latter hails from Alabama, and is considered a bad egg. These men will be forced to remain in jail. McCoy is now a state's prisoner, and appears to take things easy.
