East Cambridge, Mass., March 4 Lorenzo Barnes was hanged here today. His neck was broken. Barnes murdered John Dean, a farmer about 75 years old, who lived between Maynard and Acton, on December 17, 1897. Dean was alone when Barnes entered the house, attached and murdered him and took about $70, which the famer had upon his person. footnote.com March 5, 1896 Notify Administrator about this message?
