The case of George McDonald, charged with perjury, and John Dean, counterfeiting, no bills were found, and they were discharged. Mrs. Dean, the wife of John Dean, had been near the court room ever since the grand jury met. and when she learned that the jury had failed to find a true bill against her husband, she cried like a child for joy. She accompanied the bailiff to the jail and was the first to welcome her husband from behing gthe prison bars.
