Burkett & Charles Dean

I see messages on here about a Burkett Dean b. 1797, but I believe I have found one born before this. Who was he? And how does he connect to Burkett Dean b. 1797?

On Georgia's Virtual Vault, there is a record of a Charles Dean who was warranted land on Sept 6, 1790, in Wilkes Co. GA. One of the signers of this document was Burkett Dean.

This Burkett Dean was a grown man on Feb. 3, 1792 when this plat of land was certified. The other signer was Asa Adkins.

Also an older Burkett Dean served as a soldier:

Dean, Benket Ens. Jackson Co. June 20, 1812 - Jun 3, 1818 (M. R. 1808-1829 p 1) [I believe this to be Burnett Dean, as the following card has his name as Burkett Dean: Dean, Burkett, Ens. 254th Dist. Jackson Co. G. M., June 20, 1812.
