Stephen DEAN is supposed to have married Elizabeth BUNN, probably during the 1790s in New Jersey. They probably had five or six children: Barzilla (questionable), Christiana, Catherine, Mary "Polly", John and Stephen.
Christiana BRAYTON, Mary WELCH, John DEAN and Stephen DEAN were mentioned in their uncle Anthony BUNN's will in 1866 in Hunterdon County, New Jersey.
Catherine DEAN was born in 1803 in Lebanon Township, Hunterdon County, NJ and married Silas WALTERS in 1826 in New Germantown, Hunterdon County. She died in 1867 in Parker, NJ.
Christiana and Mary were born in 1802 and 1804, respectively, and later moved to Ohio. Mary was married to David M. WELCH of New Germantown in 1824 and named one of her sons: Stephen Dean WELCH. Mary's son, Jacob, mentions visiting his Uncle Silas WALTERS in his 1865 diary.
Nothing is known about John DEAN and Stephen DEAN (junior) other than their names.
Can anyone help me with ANY information about Stephen DEAN (senior) and Elizabeth BUNN, his wife?
