In 2001 I was looking for the parents of Thomas Henry Deale b. abt. 1817. In the 1850 census he was in Calvert Co. and later in Anne Arundel Co. and died in 1881 in Prince Georges Co. Obviously, he is not Clement's son.
While you are primarily interested in Clement Deal, I have some material which shows an Alexander Deale b. 1708 in Calvert Co., son of William Deale and Elizabeth Stallings. This may be the same Alexander Deale tou show as Clement's father. These references are in a paper titled. "The Deales of Herring Bay and West River". There is no further discussion of Alexander but some of the references in the paper may prove useful to you.
