Thomas H. Deale and Susan Tydings were my great grandparents. I too am lokking for their parents.
The 1860 Maryland census for Anne Arundel Co. shows Henry Deal, age 44; Susan, age 30.
The 1870 Maryland census for Anne Arundel Co. shows Thomas H. Deale, age 52, but no Susan. The last child was age 8.
The 1880 Maryland census for Prince George's Co. shows Thos. Henry Deale, age 63.
The Marlboro Courthouse has estate papers for Thomas H. Deale probated in 1881.
From the above: Thomas Henry Deale b. abt. 1817; d. abt. 1881 and Susan b. about 1830; d. bet. 1862-1870.
The 1850 Maryland census for Anne Arundel Co. shows Richard Tydings, age 60; Rachel Tydings, age 45 and Susan Tydings, age 16.
I assume this Susan becomes the wife of Thomas Henry Deale although there is a slight discrepancy in her age. I also assume that Richard Tydings and his wife Rachel are the parents of the Susan we are both interested in. If you come up with anything, please let me know.
