Hello, the birth of my son this past Monday (William Lee Deal) sparked interest in my haritage, and had me wondering how far back the middle name Lee goes. I just started, so here's what I know about my background, so far. There is my son, and myself (+1 sister), my dad Gary Lee Deal (no siblings), his dad Archie Lee Deal (+3 sisters), his dad Oscar Lee Deal (not sure siblings), and his dad James Lee Deal (not sure siblings). By rough calculations, I would assume James was probably born in mid 1800's. I'm not sure if James moved from somewhere else, but he was located in Woodbine Iowa and the rest were also Iowa or Missouri. Any help or direction would be appricated.
