Elsie,
The only info I have on Deakins parties beyond what appears in my 1/30/2001 posting is a 1900 Clay County (Van Buren Twp.) census revelation on the George Deakins mentioned in this posting. In that 1900 census, this George was censused as a 27-year-old coal miner heading up a household composed of his wife Alice M. Deakins,22, son George, 4, dau. Rossa M., 2, and Marry A., 7 months. There could have been additional children born into this family after 1900, but without your giving me any indication of the lifespan of the Harriet A. Deakins who married Harlan R. Roeschlein (or when they married), I don't have a clue as to whether Harriet might have been a dau. of George the elder, George the younger, a brother of George the younger, or none of the above. Let me know about when Harriet A. (Deakins) Roeschlein was born if you know. Dick Olds
