Kathy andD Deakins,
Have I somehow stumbled onto a conversation between some of my step-relatives. I am connected to a Deakins family of PA that came from Preston County, WV.
The Deakins in question is Herbert that married my widowed Grandmother as at the time he was a widower himself with about four children.
He lived and worked in the Pittsburgh, PA area an later moved to Allegheny Co, PA. He had a brother Bernard, that never married and lived with Herbert.
In a local cemetery, are John B. Deakins (1852-1928)(Father) and Ariana Deakins (1851-1941)(Mother). Herbert (1880-1963)and Bernard (1883-1955)are also buried there as well as Edith Seidenstricker (1875-1959). Maybe a Deakins as she was buried in the Deakins plot.
Anything else you may have on this family would be welcome.
