I am looking for any descendants of Robert Deakin. I would love to hear what happened to the children as we are trying to get a family reunion together. This is the information that I have...
1. ROBERT L.3 DEAKIN (JOHN2, JOSEPH1) was born Abt. 1833 in Dawley Magna, Shropshire, England, and died February 1902 in St. Paul, Minnesota. He married HANNAH ANN STANTON January 12, 1853 in Oak Grove, Dodge Co., Wisconsin (Source: Marriage Record, says father of wife was William Stanton and mother was mary Arlin. Marriage Records Vol I page 0068 whitness Norman Daniel and Lucy (?) (this is Lucy Stanton Daniels.), daughter of WILLIAM STANTON and MARY ARLIN. She was born July 03, 1829 in Canada, and died February 1902.

"Mr. Deakin Dead.
Robert L Deakin, aged sixty eight, formerly a resident of Red Wing died at 6 o'clock Sunday evening in St Paul after a brief illness.
Mrs. Hanna A Deakin, his wife, died ten days ago, after a lingering illness. Up to the time of her death Mr. Deakin was in the best of health. While looking at the remains of his wife, shortly after they were placed in the casket, he was stricken by paralysis brought on by the shock.
He was at once removed to the hospital, but the doctors held out little hope of his recovery on account of his advanced age. During the week he rallied, but Friday suffered from a relapse and Saturday sank rapidly."

The 1900 Census lists her birth date as June 1829 and her brother John as July 1829. John's death certificate has his birth date as July 3, 1829-so if they are twins, this would be Hannah's birth date as well.
