Deakins of Australia and England

I am looking for the perhaps most famous Deakin line. Alfred Deakin (b. 1856) was the first P.M. of Australia. He was born in Melbourne, son of William (b. 1819, Northamptonshire, England) and Sarah (Bill)Deakin who emigrated to their new country in 1849. William's father was John Deakin (b. 1767, lived in Stafford, England) whose father, in turn, was William Deakin (d. 1813). The family was supposed to have come from Derbyshire, England, where they were directly related to the ancient Dakyns, or Dakins, of that county. Alfred Deakin has descendants in modern Australia but they do not know their early history.
