Deaf family surname Charles 1920-30

While talking with an elderly aunt about our family history Charles/Church line in pike county ky around 1930s she stated that the Charles family relied on John Williamson a son in law to repensent the family who were all deaf, I first put it to ole age but with no luck on line i thought perhaps a new approach wouold bring better leads and info
