Have you gotten death certificates for Charles and his wife...these should include the names of their parents. Have you looked in the local newspaper for an obit? These generally have good family info. have you looked for Elizabeth in the 1880 Federal census....she will be listed by name in the household of her parents...ditto for Charles.
Have you gotten death certificates for their children? Those will give their parent's names and place of birth..ditto for all children's obits.
I would suggest, if you haven't already, post your query on the county genforums, wherever they lived....and, the surname of Charles AND his wife, Elizabeth (I assume you know her surname as you know their wedding date). To do so, just fill in the JUMP TO FORUM on the upper right of this page. I believe these will give you a better chance of finding about the family...
