John Timmons "Jack" Jones (9/28/1923—1/10/1983) was a writer of fiction, a poet, and essayist-philosopher. "To the End of Thought" was published in the "Cambridge Review" in 1955; he continued publishing "expansion" essays during the next 25 years. I've read about him in Harry G. Lang and Bonnie Meath-Lang's "Deaf Persons in the Arts and Sciences," but haven't been able to find any other information on hi (there are, after all, many John and Jack Joneses out there). I still lack a photo; indeed, I've never seen one of him.
