Benjamin Marshall Schowe Sr. (9/29/1893— 9/26/1979), like many other deaf people of his generation, worked in the war-industry plants in Akron, Ohio, during World War II. He recruited many deaf workers, and became an authority on the topic of Deaf employment, and how deaf people lived, worked, and coped with discrimination during the 1940s and 1950s. I have two photos of him, but want more . . . lots more! Notify Administrator about this message?
