Here's a toughie: the Duning brothers. Natives of Richmond, Indiana, they were both deaf and became architects. Both were also active in leadership roles in the National Association of the Deaf (NAD). Hilbert's dates are 8/16/1906—8/4/1969; I don't yet have LeRoy's. Hilbert's mentioned in "Deaf Heritage"; there's a photo of him at work and three of his buildings, including two at Miami University. (I don't yet have any photos.) He worked in Ohio, and was married to Harriet Wilson. I know that LeRoy participated on the Babbidge Committee and taught architectural drafting at NTID during its early days.
Their hearing brother George (2/25/1908-2/27/2000), a musician and movie composer/arranger, was far better known. There's a bit of info online about George, including a Wikipedia stub . . . virtally zilch on the deaf Dunings.
