hi, I've found my g-g-g-grandparents listed on the 1871 census as both being deaf and dumb from birth. They are aged 58 and 53 living in London, one born in Durham area and the other in Holborn, London. I was wondering if there are any sources of information I could access which show what life may have been like for deaf people at that time and what deaf schools they may have attended etc.
Many thanks.
