Hi, I am searching for info regarding Charles Curtis who enrolled Indiana School for the Deaf; Indianapolis, IN in the year of 1853 at age 10. His birth year is around in the year of 1842. He came from Vermillion County, Indiana.

I am requesting any info about him, his family line to see if there is any more deafness in the family line.

He is a possibly a descendant in my family line but was unable to find the line yet.

I am also deaf and just discovered that I have couple of descendants who is also deaf or have hearing loss so I am not sure if my deafness is also a carrier in the line.

Any info would be appreciated! Many thanks!! Terri
