Just saw your message...I'll look in my records...have address if you wish to send for will....part of will is in a book "Abstracts of Georgia Wills", Vol.2, by Jeanette Austin. My grandfather was Dr. Lamartine H. Deadwyler who was born in Elberton, GA...I have found info back to Martin Deadwyler who came over from Germany on the Phoenix in 1849. The book " History of Elbert, Georgia is a great resource and speaks a lot about the Duncan family. I don't have a mother for Alice Duncan. You probably have more info than me. Check the Detweiler forum...some one in there talked about a family bible. We used this forum before this forum FINALLY came. I'm so glad this one has arisen. Enough of use requested it...so I hope we all will start using it.
