Hello joan and patricia-

I just read both of your messages and I think my grandmother was one of the wexford deacons. Her parents were thomas deacon and janet elder and they lived in clonroche, near enniscorthy. They had seven children as follows:susan deacon-who married john poole
jean deacon-who married george hyder
janet deacon-who never married
thomas deacon,jr.-I don't know if he got married
richard deacin-I don't know if he got married
alice deacon-who married robert crossley(my grandparents.)
lucy deacon-who married john miller
If anyone has any more information about this family I would love to hear from you!
