Good evening Ray,
I am not actually related to Henry Deacon, and have only come upon him and his family through my current research on the Sandemanian congregation of Islington, which had connections with the Proctors and Pilkingtons, and, I've been led to believe Henry Deacon, father of Henry Wade Deacon and brother of Edward. Amongst the families I'm researching are Barnard, Baxter, Bell (my own lot), Blaikley, Boosey, Buchanan, Chater, Faraday, Gray, Leighton, Proctor, Reid, Sandeman, Vernor, and Vincent, (and a few others), who seem to have married within that community to a remarkable extent.
One of my fellow researchers, a scientist and Vincent Descendant, is particularly intrested in the strong leanings towards industrial chemistry amongst some of this community, hence our Interest in Henry Deacon.
If you'd like to know more about what we've discovered so far I'd be happy to send you detailed information, but I think we'd have to do it "off" this Board, as attachments are not allowed here I believe.
Hoping you find a basis for info sharing in the above!
Kind regards
Don Montague
