The Sussex Co. dilinquent tax list for 1823 has a John & George listed as being in OH. I am trying to locate the parents/siblings of a George W. Eskridge that m. in Madison Co. OH 12 Aug 1844 to a Susan M. Bailey. He lists his place of b. as DE in the Fayette Co OH census of 1860. Civil War records and census records indicate his birth as c 1823/24. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Geo. d. 29 Jul 1866 in Pickaway Co. OH and had served in the 69th OH Reg. Co. H as a Sergeant.
