The Rawlins/Rawlings family is covered in "Colonial Families of Delaware Volume 1" by F. Edward Wright, but only up to about 1735. Still, there might be some clues. I would suggest that you check Neil Keddie's site, www.mddelgenealogy.com, for which you would have to pay, but it is worth every penny, and also go to Rootsweb mailing lists, and under Maryland subscribe to Lower Delmarva Roots if you have not already. Keep in mind that that particular area was part of Maryland for a while, and then Delaware, so records might be in either.
