Wesley & Jesse Stevenson

Wesley and Jesse Stevenson show up on the 1840 in Indian River Hundred. I believe that they are the sons of William Stevenson. They have sisters Eliza, Jane, Lydia and brother William. My Robert Stevenson married Wesley's wife Lavinia Callaway after Wesley died. Robert and Jesse paid his debts and then Robert married her but did not leave her anything in his will.

Wesley and Levinia have a Mary (idiotic age 50) living with them in the 1850 census. This may be his mother.

Does this William Stevenson connect to my Kendal(1773-1815) Stevenson. Kendal had a brother named Robert Wilson Stevenson that I have not been able to locate. Does anyone have info on this William Stevenson, Wesley or Jesse. I believe that they are related in some way but haven't been able to verify it yet.

The children of Wesley are Anjelica, William, Sarah, Gustavish, Bartimus, Levinia, and Laura, 1880 Levinia and son Bartenus are living in Milford.

Jesse's children are Leroy, William, Annie, Wesley W., Zadock, Eliza, Sadie, Emma, Jesse, and John. 1880 living in Cedar Creek.

If you know anything about this family please e-mail.

Thank you,
Dorene
