Matthew,

Hi, my name is Brad Williams, and I am originally from Sussex County, DE. I have an Elzey Williams in my direct line who, from the 1800 DE census, would have been born between 1756 & 1774. He married Phebe ? and I am descended from them. That lineage is posted on my website www.brads-world.com Have you run across Elzey in your research?

I have also traced back from my paternal g-g-mother to a John Bishop Godfrey (b. 3/19/1836 d. 3-5-1907) who married Martha Magee (b. 2-22-1837 d. 11-18-1914). Was this Godfrey descended from the one in your posting? Maybe we can share some info.

Sincerely,
Brad
