I am trying to research the families of Charles Byron NYE born abt 1883. He married Cora Mae ADKINS, probaly abt 1898. Cora was born Aug 22, 1883, her parents were Beverly ADKINS and Margaret WILSON.
Cora & charles had the following known children

Charles Linford Nye abt 1901
Raymond Nye Aug 13, 1903
Lillian G. Nye Sept 22, 1905
Marion E. Nye abt 1908
Daniel Byron Nye March 24, 1911
Evelyn Nye abt 1915
Frank Nye Feb 5, 1917
Imogene Nye Sept 13, 1921
some of these children were born around Portsville, Sussex co, and Laurel,
Delia married Samuel Carter BIRNEY
Linford married Emma DOWNEY
Raymond married Lois
Lillian married first Elwood Francis Brown
Marion married Roy DOWD
daniel married Helen Frances Marie Shields
Evelyn married Felix JONSE
Frank maried ___________ SHARPLESS
Imogene married James SWAFFORD
The surnames WOTHERS, & WOOTERS beleive to be two different families may connect way back in the early 1800's married into this family also.
