I am searching for info on Wm Mitchell in the 1870 Cass County, Tipton township, Indiana.
My ggrandfather, Benjamin Clouser married a Bell Mitchell on 10 Jan 1886 in Tipton County, Indiana. According to a family bible, she was born in Cass county. This same bible says her father was William I. and her mother was Sara. No other info.
The above mentioned William Mitchell has a daughter Sarah of the right age (2) and his wife is Sarah J. Wow, that is close.
They have sons Milton M. age 11 and George (R. or B.) age 5.
William was born in Parke County, Indiana and wife Sarah J. was born in Sussex County, Delaware according to the 1860 Cass County, Indiana census.
Cass County, Indiana marriage records show a William Mitchell m. Sarah Hearst on 3 Sep 1857.
Any info on this family would be greatly appreciated.
