Hi Barbara,

I am looking for the REYNOLDS surname from Sussex Co., DE. We have a Richard Reynolds b. in the state of DE.-abt. 1780 who moved to Fairfield Co., OH. We have no family for him, or know nothing about him. He had a son William D. Reynolds b. in Fairfield Co., OH. on 15 March, 1812.

I found a will, on, for a Richard Reynolds- b. abt 1735 who was first married to a Nancy Pettyjohn, then married a Anne---? This Richard's will-probate date was 24 Nov., 1791, in Sussex Co. His children were Zachariah, Benjamin, Bowen, Richard, James, Elizabeth, Hannah, (Agnes-m. to Jonathan ADDISON), and Eunice PETTIT- w/o Jacob Pettit, who later married Jesse DUTTON.

Agnes and Jonathan ADDISON- moved to Muskingum Co., OH. Eunice and Jesse Dutton- moved to Delaware Co.,OH, then to Marion Co., OH.

We do not know if our Richard, is the son Richard mentioned in this will. Also would there be a first name of the desceased Richard's wife "Anne"- mentioned in this will?
Would your source tell of a burial location for the deceased Richard that died in 1791?

Also would there possibly be a will for the Anne Reynolds w/o Richard Reynolds? It is possible she died within the time frame you have.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!!

Sue Moyer
