Hi Carla,
I apologize for the long delay in answering your last message. I've been off searching for some other lines.
Unfortunately, I have not been able to find any record of Thomas Reynolds among my families in Appoquinimink Hundred. The Delaware Reynolds appear to have been members of the Catholic faith and are descendants of John Reynolds of Cecil County, MD. However I did find two mentions of a Thomas Reynolds in Fr Thomas Peterson's book, "Catholics in Colonial Delmarva" on pages. 77 and 266. A grant of land was made to a Thomas Reynolds in 1670 at the head of Whorekill Creek at the mouth of the Delaware Bay. A second Thomas Reynolds mentioned in Peterman was born in 1769, took the oath of Fidelity in 1783,married Francis Smith in 1783 and died in 1816. By the way, have you checked the records of Old Bohemia? I hope this is helpful.
Mel
