Adams / Eaton marriage 1811 Newport
Posted by: Carla Hornibrook (ID *****3388) Date: July 21, 2007 at 15:09:02

Have reference to a William Adams as the father of two ancestors, sisters Jane and Sarah both born around 1780-1790. William's wife may have been named Jane. Newport was shown as a town.

Jane married Thomas Eaton who appears to descend from the Reynolds and Eaton families of White Clay Creek Hundred and New Castle Hundred. They at some point moved to Lancaster.

Their marriage was performed by Rev. Joseph Clarkson. However, marriage record is not at the Wilmington nor Lancaster churches.

Any assistance on identifying the Adams family would be appreciated. Thank you.
