I am not a Harrison/Harris descendant but am researching the Bostick family of Eastern Maryland and Delaware.I was struck that your ancester was called Sapience. One of the Bosticks I am researching is a Sappins Bostick who appears in records in Kent County, Maryland and New Castle County, Delaware in the 1770s and who died by June 1777.He lived in Appoquinimink Hundred in New Castle County, Delaware. His only known family is his widow, Elizabeth.I think he may be the son of my ancestral uncle, Samuel Bostick (c1674-c1735) of Kent County, Maryland.Do you have any information on the Bostick family of New Castle County, Maryland.
I have checked some records for Kent County, Maryland and find that there are two references to a "Sapin Harrison" in that area.He is listed as a "desperate mony debt" in the estate of Charles Sayler in a list of debts dated 28 April 1708.Most of the debtors listed including my ancestral uncle, Samuel Bostick, were of Kent County, Maryland. He is listed again as receiving a payment from the estate of George Sanders of Kent County, Maryland, in 1730.George Sanders' daughter, Margaret Sanders, married James Bostick, son of Samuel Bostick.I hope this helps.
