I am looking for information on John and Oliver McKinley who were listed in the 1782 Delaware Tax Asses. and Census Lists. Both were living in White Clay Creek. I believe they are related. Oliver was in the Rev. War and later moved on to Bedford Co., PA, Mason Co., KY and Clermont Co., OH. I believe John stayed in White Clay Creek as he is listed in the 1800 census. He may the John McKinley who was in the marines in the navy during the Rev. War. He died in 1825. There are other McKinleys listed in this tax assessment and living in New Castle Co. but am not certain of their relationship.
