OOOOps...I happen to read the last message instead of first reading this one B-( Mt Salem Methodist Church is actually in Rockford Park. It's a beautiful old stone church and is just across from Mt. Salem Cemetery. I was able to find the grave of my maternal Gr-Grandfather despite it being unmarked (without a tombstone). I happened to be there when the caretaker was also there. I simply asked him IF he could find out where my gr-Grandfather might be buried. He checked and told me EXACTLY where. At that time there were concise burial records and I believe they are still available.
