The best place to look for the Barkers is in the Quaker books of North Carolina. Mostly Orange and Randolph counties. Mostly Cane Creek MM (Monthly meeting). These books can ususally be found in a library that has a genealogy section. There should be a set of 4 or 5 books written by a man of the last name Hinshaw. Most of those Barkers moved from DE to N.C. and then to Hamilton County Indiana. Settling around Westfield and Sheridan Indiana.
