Some sources on google books state that "All DE Cochran's are descended from Derick Kolchman (now Cochran) a founder of the Labadist Colony". He is listed in 1698 in Cecil County, MD (Dutch). Now not all of these Cochran's are descended from him but some may be since we can not connect them to any Cochran lines of Scot-Irish descent or English descent. The Old Swedes Church at that time was at Fort Christina. Any help would be appreciated.
