I am looking for information about the family of Albert Hollingsworth. A letter from an aunt said: "Of Saxon descent & a member of the Society of Friends. Descended from Valentine Hollingsworth who came to US with William Penn in 1682 and settled in New Castle County (now Delaware) and filled many prominent positions in the colony."
He married Eleanora Newman who was born 6 March 1868 in Covington KY. She was supposedly related to a William Payne (sp?) who fought in the Revolutionary War.
At some point they moved to Kansas City KS. They had a daughter Carrie who was born in 1867 and died in Kansas City KS in 1937. She married Samuel Lind and they lived near Lawrence KS.
